How to restore CrossOver menu items so they appear in Xfce

Sometimes the Xfce window manager doesn't detect CrossOver's menu items when Crossover is installed.

If you remove the directory ~/.config/menus and logout/login Xfce should rescan menu items and the CrossOver menu entry will appear.

If you have Windows apps installed in CrossOver the missing Windows Programs menu may or may not restore. If not, then start crossover and display bottles. In each bottle, under the Control Panels section, click "Edit Menus" and click the Recreate button to restore all the applications menu entries in each bottle.
